Prior to the Event

At the Event

What parking arrangements are available at the venue?

There is plenty of public parking at the hotel, or valet is always available.

In what room of the hotel will the Assembly be held?

The program sessions will be held in the Hidalgo Ballroom, located on the Ballroom Level at the top of the stately grand staircase.   

Post Event

Will I be able to participate virtually?

The Assembly will not include a virtual component as we hope to personally meet you, and the opportunity to network one-on-one with your peers is invaluable.

What is your refund policy?

No refunds will be provided.  However, confirmed (paid) registrants will receive access to the sessions on-demand, a copy of the speakers’ PPT presentations, and be able to claim CME (ethics), CEU (ethics) and CPLCP credits.

Are early bird discounts available?

Yes, the discount is offered over a period of three months, typically May – August.

Is there a preferred method for me to secure my room accommodations?

Discounted room accommodations can be made directly through our reservations portal or by contacting the Westin’s Central Reservations office at (888) 627-8396 and reference Group #M-ST7YRPZ (American Academy of Physician Life Care Planners – AAPLCP) to verify discount availability.  

Where can I review my registration information?

Immediately upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email which will include a “registration details” link, which you can use to go back in and review your information.

What form of payment do you accept when registering?

Only MasterCard and Visa cards are accepted at this time.

What is included in the registration fee?

As a confirmed (paid) registrant, you will receive a free invitation to the Welcome Reception, scheduled Thursday evening, April 24th, access to the sessions on-demand for ninety (90) days after the conference and copies of the speakers’ PPT presentations.  

Do I have to be a member to register for the Assembly?

No.  The Assembly welcomes all MDs, DOs, non-physicians, nurse life care planners, and all other clinical and forensic professionals interested in the discipline of life care planning.

I have accessibility/dietary needs. Can you accommodate me?

Yes, you can provide this information through the registration form, or contact Sandra Contreras at scontreras@aaplcp.org to ensure the proper accommodations are secured.

Is there a dress code for the event?

Yes, it is business casual.

Where can I find information about the program agenda and schedule?

The agenda and schedule will be posted (and downloadable) on www.aaplcpassembly.org as soon as they are finalized.  

Who can attend the assembly?

MD, DOs, and all other clinical and forensic professionals interested in the discipline of life care planning.

Are there any continuing education credits offered for attending the Assembly?

Yes, attendees may earn the following credits:

  • CMEs
  • CLCP/CCPLCP, MSCC, and CMCPS CEUs
  • CPLCP CEUs
  • CRCC CEs
  • Ethics
How will I receive continuing education credit?

The week following the Assembly, you will receive a communication with step-by-step instructions on how to claim your credits.

Will attendees receive copies of the speakers’ PPT presentations?

Yes, they will be sent to all registrants in the days following the Assembly.
